Refund Tracking

Are you wondering….WHERE IS MY REFUND? Timing of your refund is different depending on the time of year you sent in your refund and by what method your refund was sent. Electronic filings of returns receive a quicker turn around time, than paper filings of returns. Also, how you wanted your refund sent to you makes a difference.

If you requested a direct deposit, and electronically filed your return, then likely your refund should hit your bank account in no longer than 3 weeks, according to the IRS. If you filed a paper return, then it might take as long as 8 weeks.

In order to assist you in tracking your refund with the IRS and various states, we have supplied you the direct links to access this information. You no longer have to wait so long for your accountant to contact you. You will need a couple of items in order to track your refund. You will need to have your social security number(s), tax id number (if applicable) and the dollar amount of your refund. (YES IT NEEDS TO BE EXACT IN ORDER FOR THE SYSTEM TO PROCESS YOUR REQUEST)
