The IRS has set up a secure website to file all tax returns. Ultimately your data is entered into a computer system somewhere, and paper getting lost would increase your confidentiality risk.

It is always best to check with Barbara and file an amended return.
10. How long should it take for me to obtain a W-2 from my employer?
The law states that the deadline for distributing W-2’s to employees is January 31st. If you do not receive a W-2 by then, check with your employer to make sure that they have a valid mailing address for you.
11. I need my child’s and my tax return for FAFSA verification, can you just e-mail it to the university?
No, due to privacy laws I am only allowed to send your copies to you.
